Rohit was India’s main man once again, leading the charge with a 39-ball 57 as India posted 171/7 after a lengthy rain delay at the Providence Stadium Guyana. After the match, Rohit expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance. “It’s very satisfying to win this game. We’ve worked really hard as a unit to come through this stage, and to win this game like that was a great effort from everybody. Our unity and collective effort were the key to our success.”

“I thought we adapted to the conditions well. The conditions were a little challenging. We had to adapt, and that’s been the success story for us so far. And then the bowlers and the batters, if they understand the conditions and play according to them, things fall into place, and that’s exactly what happened for us today. Very pleasing to see how we came through this game,” said Rohit.
