Allahabad University Announces 539 Faculty Vacancies, Apply By January 2, 2024

As per the latest notification, there are 539 vacancies for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Allahabad University. The details of the vacancy on faculty posts are as follows-

There are 66 vacancies for the post of Professor

For Associate Professor, there are 137 job vacancies at the University.

Finally, for the position of assistant professor, there are 336 posts available.

What is the application fee?

The application fee for candidates belonging to the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backward Class (OBC) for females and males for the faculty posts in Allahabad is Rs 2,000. Whereas for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories, it is Rs 1,000. For disabled candidates, the fee is Rs 100.

What is the selection process?

For the faculty recruitment at Allahabad University, candidates shall be selected after their screening round and document verification. Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained during graduation, post-graduation and PhD.

How much salary can the candidates expect?

Candidates who will get hired for the post of Professor at Allahabad University will get a salary of Rs 1,44,200 as per the Pay Level-14 under the Seventh Central Pay Commission. For the role of Associate Professor, the candidate can get up to Rs 1,31,100 as per Pay Level 13 and Assistant Professor will get a salary of Rs 2,08,700 as per Pay Level 11 under 7th Central Pay Commission.
