The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) commenced the state Class 12 board exam 2024 on February 1. On the first day of the Bihar Class 12 board exam, candidates from the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams appeared for Philosophy, Biology, and Economics papers, respectively. As per the official schedule, the Philosophy and Biology exam was held from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm (morning shift). While the Economics exam was scheduled from 2 pm to 5:15 pm (afternoon shift).
This year, a total of 4,62,425 students appeared for the Biology and Philosophy subject paper. While 86,691 candidates sat for the Economics exam. The board has set up approximately 1,523 examination centres across the state to administer the Bihar Intermediate Board Exams this year.
According to the Careers360 report, a total of 43 students were expelled on the first day of the 12th board exam 2024 for using unfair means during the exam. The BSEB informed that about 22 students have been expelled from the examination hall in Nawada district, nine candidates from Nalanda district, and three students each from Bhojpur district and Arwal town. In addition, from the Samastipur and Jehanabad cities, two students each were expelled. One candidate was caught using unfair means in Munger and Madhepura districts.
Furthermore, the board also apprehended eight people who impersonated students during the exam. There were about six impersonators who were apprehended in Nalanda district, while one each in Bhojpur and Gaya districts, respectively.
Bihar Class 12 Board Exam 2024: Important Instructions
–– Students are advised to reach the exam centre one hour before the test for a smooth examination experience.
–– Candidates whose exam paper is scheduled in the morning shift are requested to be present by 8:30 AM at the exam centre.
–– Those whose exam is scheduled in the afternoon shift are advised to be present by 1 PM at the exam centre.
–– Candidates appearing for the exam must carry a valid identity proof along with their admit cards on the day of the exam.
–– Students are allowed to carry only basic stationery items inside the examination hall. The items include pens, pencils, erasers, and other items inside the exam hall.
–– It is important to note that students as well as invigilators are prohibited from using any electronic devices such as smart watches, Bluetooth, pagers, etc.
