Osmania University has released the results for the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test (CPGET) 2024. Candidates who applied for the entrance exam can check their scores through the official website at cpget.tsche.ac.in. To check the CPGET 2024 scorecard, candidates will have to enter their CPGET hall ticket number, their registration number and date of birth. The CPGET 2024 written examination was conducted on July 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 for admission into 8 universities in Telangana.
Talking about the passing criteria, candidates belonging to general and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories are required to score at least 25 per cent marks in CPGET 2024 to qualify. However, there are no such CPGET passing marks for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category students.
It is worth noting that the CPGET reserves seats for specific categories at the time of admission. For local candidates, 85 per cent of seats are reserved, whereas SC and ST candidates can avail 15 per cent and 6 per cent seat reservations, respectively.
CPGET 2024: Here’s How to Check the Results
Step 1: Candidates need to login to the official website of CPGET at cpget.tsche.ac.in.
Step 2: Then, search for and click on the “Download Rank Card” option available on the homepage.
Step 3: Key in your hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth in the designated spaces.
Step 4: Once done, click on the “Download Rank Card” button.
Step 5: Your CPGET 2024 rank card will be displayed on your screen.
Step 6: Save a copy and take a printout of it for future reference.
Upon downloading, go through the CPGET result thoroughly. It contains various important details such as the name of the candidate, name of the guardian, application number, date of birth, category, nationality, total marks obtained, qualifying status and more.
It is worth mentioning that the CPGET rank card 2024 will be valid for one academic year. Therefore, candidates who have qualified the exam are advised to participate in CPGET counselling 2024 at the allocated universities to complete the CPGET admission process.
