How To Get Admission Into India’s 1st All-girls Sainik School  In Vrindavan

Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the first all-girls sainik school at Vrindavan on January 1. The school is named Samvid Gurukulam Girls Sainik School. It has been inaugurated under the initiative of establishing 100 new sainik schools in partnership with NGOs/private/state government schools in all state and Union territories. Samvid Gurukulam Girls Sainik School is situated in Vatsalya Gram Parisar. The school will offer a CBSE curriculum along with military training for its students. The admission to this school will be done on the basis of a written test and e-counselling.

The admission in this school has already started. The admission of the students is available for the PG & Nursery class, Class 1, Class 6, Class 9 and Class 11. The enrollment of the students can also be done in other grades, depending on the availability of seats. In Girls Sainik School, both boys and girls will be given admission as day boarder or residential students up to Class 5. At the same time, girls from Class 6 to 11 will get admission as residential students. Boys will not be allowed for admission from Class 6 onwards.

To get admission in Class 6, the candidate must be aged between 10 to 12 years. The documents which are required to be submitted for admission include the Date of Birth certificate of the student, Aadhaar Card of parents and child, passport size photographs and transfer certificate from the previous school, if attended. You can submit these documents at the official website of Samvid Gurukulam Girls Sainik School–samvidgurukulam.org.

The candidate will have to pass the entrance exam in English language. In the Sainik School Entrance Exam, questions will be related to the language, mathematics, reasoning, science and general knowledge subjects. After qualifying the written examination, the candidate has to pass the physical and medical test which will be followed by the personal interview of the child and parents. It will be conducted to assess the student’s educational development, communication skills and social skills, as per the academic guidelines of this Sainik School. For the PG and Nursery classes, there will be no written test required.
