JSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024: Application Begins For 455 Posts, Graduates Can Apply

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has commenced the application process for the Jharkhand Secretariat Stenographer Competitive Examination (JSSCE) 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Jharkhand SSCE 2024 on the official website- jssc.nic.in till October 5. The exam date will be notified by the commission in due course.

JSSC SSCE 2024 Vacancies

JSSC is conducting the recruitment drive to fill up 455 vacancies of which 454 are regular vacancies and one is backlog post of SC category. 182 posts are for unreserved category candidates, 118 posts for the ST candidates, 45 posts for the SC candidates, 37 posts are for the extremely backward class while 27 posts are reserved for the backward class and 45 for the EWS category candidates. Jharkhand SSC Secretariat Stenographer Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for the stenographer posts must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and should be skilled in stenography. The minimum age limit is to apply for the post is 21 years while the upper age limit is 35 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given as per the reservation criteria.

JSSC SSCE 2024: Application Fee

Candidates applying for the JSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024 are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, candidates belonging to SC and ST categories have to pay an application fee of Rs 50.

Step 5: Complete the registration process and login with computer generated Registration number and password

Jssc Stenographer Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a written examination followed by a Skill Test (stenography), Document verification and Medical examination. The written exam for JSSCE 2024 will comprise 100 questions for 300 marks.
