Karnataka NMMS 2023: School authorities will have to download the admit card and distribute the signed copies to the students by December 28, 2023

The Karnataka School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Council released the State National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) hall ticket 2023 on December 22. The Karnataka NMMS 2023 admit card for Class 8 students can be downloaded from the official website at kseab.karnataka.gov.in. School authorities have been advised to download the admit card and distribute the signed copies to the appearing candidates by Thursday, December 28, 2023. The NMMS 2023 admit card can be accessed online by entering the credentials like U-DISE CODE / UserID and Password.

Students without a hall ticket will not be allowed to appear in the exam. The Karnataka NMMS 2023 hall ticket will mention details like – candidate name, roll number, exam centre and address, name of the exam, exam schedule, instructions to the candidates, and photographs of the students among other details. As per the schedule, the Karnataka NMMS 2023 exam will be conducted on January 7, 2024. School principals have also been directed to provide students taking the exam with appropriate guidance and information about the exam centre.

Karnataka NMMS 2023 Hall Ticket: Steps To Download

Step 1: Visit the official website at kseab.karnataka.gov.in

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the link that reads – “Regarding downloading the NMMS Exam Hall Tickets for the year 2023-24” that is under the ‘Latest News’ section.

Step 3: Then go to ‘SSLC Portal’ and click on ‘NMMS’ Login.

Step 4: As a new page opens, enter the U-DISE CODE / UserID and Password. Click on submit.

Step 5: The Karnataka NMMS 2023 admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Check the details and download the hall ticket.

The NMMS scholarship exam is divided into two parts: the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), each carrying 90 marks. Both papers are administered in two shifts on the same day. The Karnataka NMMS exam 2023 will take one and a half hours to complete.

The Central Sector Scheme ‘National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme’ was launched in 2008 to award scholarships to meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to prevent them from dropping out of class 8 and encourage them to continue their education at the secondary level.

It is intended to give 100,000 scholarships under this scheme to deserving students whose parents make no more than Rs 3.5 lakh annually from all sources at the time the recipients are chosen.
