The Medical Counselling Committee will start the MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 choice-filling procedure today, August 16, 2024. On the MCC’s official website, mcc.nic.in, candidates can fill out and lock their preference forms.
The deadline for filling out options is August 20, 2024, at 11:55 pm. Choice Locking will be accessible from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on August 20. MCC will allocate seats for the NEET UG to the enrolled applicants per their filled-out selections and merit. While candidates can pick as many choices as they like, the selections must be made in the order of preference.
The allocation of seats will take place between August 21 and 22 while the results will be displayed on August 23. Reporting and joining will take place between August 24 and August 29, 2024, and institutes will verify the data of joined applicants between August 30 and August 31, 2024.
NEET UG Counselling 2024: How to Fill in Choices
All applicants who have completed their registration can fill out the options by following the instructions below:
Step 1: Go to the MCC’s official website at mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: From the home page, select the MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 1 choice filling link.
Step 3: Complete the registration form and click the submit button.
Step 4: Once completed, fill up the selections.
Step 5: Click submit to download the NEET UG Counselling 2024 choice filling page.
Step 6: Save a physical copy of the NEET UG Counselling 2024 choice filling in case you need it later.
The MCC has recommended applicants who wish to apply, particularly for deemed universities, review the fee structure and other additional charges with the different medical colleges’ official portals before making their decisions. It said that certain All-India Quota colleges may have expensive tuition fees.
NEET UG 2024: Counselling fee
A non-refundable security deposit of Rs 2 lakh and a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 5,000 must be paid by candidates signing up for the counselling procedure in order to be considered for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats.
MCC NEET UG counselling for the 15 per cent AIQ seats will take place in four stages this year: AIQ round 1, round 2, round 3, and an online stray vacancy round. The registration period for the second round of NEET UG counselling will open on September 5 and run until September 10 at 12 pm.
