During the first day of the UP Police Recruitment Examination 2024, a candidate was issued an admit card featuring Sunny Leone’s photo and name instead of his/her own. The incident occurred on Saturday, February 17.
The admit card listed Smt Soneshree Memorial Girls College in Kannauj as the examination centre, with the exam scheduled from 10 am to 12:05 pm. The registration was completed on the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board’s (UPPRB) website, featuring Leone’s photo and registration number 12258574.
The UPPRB clarified that the admit card bearing Sunny Leone’s name was deemed fake. Officials from UPPRB explained that a candidate mistakenly uploaded incorrect photos during the exam application process. After complaints were made, the recruitment board fixed the problem by removing the wrong photos and leaving blank spaces instead.
The Uttar Pradesh Police constable recruitment examination kicked off on Saturday. The exam is being held in two shifts across all districts of Uttar Pradesh. Its primary objective is to fill 60,244 vacant positions for Police Constables.
