The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu has announced the provisional rank list for the Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 on Monday, August 19, 2024. The tentative rank list for candidates who applied for MBBS/BDS counselling is now available on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.
Candidates must download the provisional rank list and pay the tuition fee as soon as the round 1 counselling results are announced. The official notice states that candidates must report by the designated date and hour to the Head of the Institution to which they have been allocated. Candidature will be immediately cancelled in case of failure.
The provisional rank list has been released for the Tamil Nadu government school quota, management quota, and government quota.
Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: How To Check Provisional List?
Step 1. Visit tnmedicalselection.net, the official website.
Step 2. Click the link ‘Provisional List of Candidates assigned to the MBBS/BDS Course for the 2024–2025 session’ from the notification.
Step 3. Find the name of the candidate in the PDF that is visible on the screen.
Step 4. Save a printed copy for your records after downloading it.
Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: Schedule
The provisional allocation order will be available for download for candidates between August 30 and September 5. The seat allocation result will be announced on August 29. September 5 is the joining deadline.
–– Registration/payment and choice-filling and locking: August 21, 2024 (from 10 am) to August 28, 2024 (till 5 pm)
–– Processing of seat allotment: August 28, 2024
–– Provisional seat allotment result: August 29, 2024
–– Final seat allotment result: August 30, 2024

Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: Registration Fee
According to the counselling timetable, the round I registration, fee payment, and choice filling will start on August 21. Before August 27, qualified candidates may submit an application, pay a fee, and select their desired colleges and courses. The non-refundable registration cost for applicants is Rs 1,000 for the management quota and Rs 500 for the government quota. In self-financed medical and dentistry colleges as well as state private universities, students would also need to provide a refundable security deposit of Rs 30,000 for government quota seats and Rs 1 lakh for management quota seats.
