Are you considering studying law? You can now enrol in a three-year course at a law college that is currently attracting a lot of attention. Admission to the Law College in Tilka Majhi, which is part of Tilka Manjhi University, is set to begin soon. The Bar Council has already granted permission for this, and the college is now awaiting final approval from the university. Once this is received, the admissions process will commence immediately.

According to reports, three years ago, the admissions process was stopped here due to a lack of facilities. But now it will start again. Recently, in a media interaction, Principal Sanjeev Kumar Singh shared that the admissions process will start at the Law College for 2024–25. For this, a letter has also been sent to the DSW of TMBU.

Currently, admissions will be taken only for the 3-year course. It is the last year for students pursuing a 5-year course. After this, there will be no enrollment in the 5-year course. Principal Sanjeev Kumar Singh also said that the lack of classrooms and other resources has made enrollment in the 5-year course impossible right now. Therefore, enrollment will be done only in the 3-year course, which will start soon.

He also said that after the reduction in seats, admission will now be possible on 60 seats in two batches in the law college. Earlier, the number of seats was three. There was no admission for three years in between; now admission will start in the fourth year. The new session is to start in July itself. It is expected that the admissions process will be completed in July and the session will start. There was a lot of happiness among the students after the start of the admissions process as students had to go out of Bhagalpur to study law. Now, students will be able to study law here.

As per 2022 statistics, there are 1721 law colleges in India. Both public and private law schools fall into this category. There has been a rise in the enrollment of students in law courses such as LLB and LLM in recent years. To get admission to an Indian law college, one must pass the CLAT exam.
