The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research will be wraping up the registration window for the TN National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2024 today, August 9 at 5 PM. The official website, tnmedicalselection.net, is where eligible candidates who haven’t enrolled yet may apply for TN NEET UG counselling 2024. Earlier the deadline to apply for the TN NEET 2024 counselling was August 8 but was extended due to representations from candidates.
A merit list of qualified applicants for the initial round of counselling will be released by the counselling committee. The list will only include students who have submitted a completed application. The next step for candidates is to select their courses and colleges.
TN NEET UG 2024 Counselling: How to Apply
Step 1: Visit the official website for TN NEET PG counselling at tnmedicalselection.net.
Step 2: Click the ‘UG courses’ option and pick ‘MBBS/BDS’.
Step 3: Select the application link to apply for MBBS/BDS courses at Tamil Nadu medical and dental institutes for the 2024–2025 session under the government quota or management quota, which includes NRIs.
Step 4: Navigate to the online application tab and pick new registration.
Step 5: Use the credentials you generated to register and log in.
Step 6: Complete the application and attach the necessary files.
Step 7: Pay the fee and complete the form.
Step 8: Take a printout of the TN NEET PG counselling 2024 confirmation page for future reference.
Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Documents Required
— NEET UG Admit Card and Scorecard
– Marksheets of classes 10 and 12.
— Transfer certificate.

– Additional essential documentation for certain quotas (e.g., NRI, minority status).
— Certificate for evidence of studies from Class 6 to Class 12 for applicants who have studied entirely in Tamil Nadu.

A non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 500 for government quota seats and Rs. 1,000 for management quota seats must be paid by applicants. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), SC (Arunthathiyar), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities in Tamil Nadu are excluded from paying the application fees.
