The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board (UPSESSB) has started the application process for various posts including trained graduate teacher (TGT) and postgraduate teacher (PGT). Those candidates who are interested in UPSESSB 2021 TGT and PGT posts can apply on the official website, pariksha.up.nic.in.
For PGT, a total of 2,595 posts are advertised and for TGT 12,603 posts are on offer. This, a total of 15,198 posts are to be filled through this recruitment exam.
For TGT posts, candidates will be shortlisted based on a written exam and an interview. The written exam will have 85 per cent weightage. While the recruitment for PGT posts will be conducted only through a written exam. The last date for registering online is April 11, while the final date for submitting the fees is April 13. The date for submission of online applications is April 15.
UPSESSB 2021 TGT and PGT Recruitment: Eligibility
Age: All candidates who are applying for the UPSESSB 2021 posts must be above the age of 21 years.
Education: Candidates applying for TGT post must have a graduation degree in the subject for which they are filling the form, along with a B.Ed./ BTC. For PGT candidates, a post-graduation in the subject they are applying for, along with a B.Ed is mandatory.
UPSESSB 2021 TGT and PGT Recruitment: Steps to follow
Step 1: Open any browser of your choice and type pariksha.up.nic.in in the search bar
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the tab that reads, ‘UTTAR PRADESH SECONDARY EDUCATION SERVICES SELECTION’
Step 3: A new page will open, wherein you will see a hyperlinked option that reads, ‘Candidate Registration’. Click on it
Step 4: You will be directed to a new window where you will see two options that read, ‘TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER EXAMINATION’ and ‘POST-GRADUATE TEACHER EXAMINATION.’ Now, depending on the post of your choice, click on the apply tab adjacent to it
Step 5: A new page will open where all the instructions for the application have been mentioned. After carefully going through it, click on the ‘I Agree’ option
Step 6: The form will open in a new tab
Step 7: Carefully enter all the details and submit the form after paying the fees
Step 8: Once everything is done successfully, a 16-digit registration number will appear. Download and take a print of the page that has the number for your future reference
UPSESSB 2021 TGT and PGT Recruitment: Salary
Those selected for the post of PGT will get a salary in the range of Rs 47600 to Rs 1,51,100 with a grade pay of Rs 4800. While those hired at the post of TGT will get a salary in the range of Rs 44900 to Rs 142400 with grade pay of Rs 4600.
UPSESSB 2021 TGT and PGT Recruitment: Fee
Candidates will have to pay Rs 750 aa application fee. For those belonging to EWS category, the fee is Rs 650 while for SC and ST candidates it is Rs 450 and 250, respectively.
