Exclusive | Kartik Aaryan on Koffee with Karan 8 CONFIRMED, Karan Johar to Bury Hatchet in Public?

Kartik Aaryan will be seen on Koffee With Karan 8, a source has exclusively confirmed with News18 Showsha. The anticipation surrounding the list of guests on the eighth season of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan won’t die down anytime soon. Last week, News18 Showsha exclusively had learnt that The Archies trio of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor will be making their debut on the much talked about chat show this season and will shoot for it in November. We had also reported that Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan will also grace one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan together.

Rumour mills continue to remain abuzz with the possible guests for this edition with many reports claiming that even Kartik Aaryan and Kangana Ranaut might appear on the show. And now a source exclusively tells us that chances of Kangana appearing on the show are extremely slim but Kartik is most likely to feature in it. Following Kartik and Karan’s alleged fallout during Dostana 2, speculations had done the rounds that the duo doesn’t see eye to eye anymore and might not even come together for a project in the future. However, it seems like Karan and Kartik are coming together to clear the air about their alleged feud.

“There’s still no clarity as to who Kartik will come with but he’s likely to be seen on the Koffee couch for the second time. The duo has decided on sorting out their differences and the episode might also see them addressing the many reports of their alleged tiff,” the source says.

We reached out to the actor’s team for a confirmation on the same but they remained unavailable for comment at the time of publishing this story.

Kartik made his Koffee With Karan debut during the sixth season of the show when he had appeared with his Luka Chuppi and Shehzada co-star Kriti Sanon. And though he wasn’t a part of the show in its seventh season, his name popped up quite frequently during the ‘Hey, Karan, it’s me’ segment.

For the unversed, Karan took the internet by shock when he announced the recasting of Dostana 2, in which Kartik was supposed to share the screen space with Janhvi Kapoor. And that formed the cause of an alleged rift between them. Despite reports of a spat, Kartik and Karan have often been spotted at public events. Last year, they were also seen chatting and getting pally with one another at an award function. And during a screening of Satyaprem Ki Katha a while back, they shocked many as they greeted each other and even shared a cordial hug. They also shared the panel at a film event in Australia where Karan announced he is discussing a film with Kartik.

It is also speculated that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt could appear together on Koffee With Karan 8. It is also rumoured that actor-director duo Rohit Shetty-Ajay Devgn and Bollywood’s popular couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have already shot their episodes at YRF studios.
