Inter will cope without Eto'o: coach
The Cameroon international is expected to complete his transfer to Anzhi Makhachkala.

Milan: Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini insists his side have the quality to cope with the imminent departure of Samuel Eto'o.

The Cameroon international is expected to complete his transfer to Anzhi Makhachkala this Monday after both clubs reached a verbal agreement at the weekend.

Gasperini said during a press conference: "Would Inter be weaker without Eto'o? There are other players and we'll start building again with this group. We all know how good the player is, but I think this is a team that can also be set up differently.

"We'll try to get back the players who are out at the moment and we might be able to strengthen a little too. Obviously it's the strength of your attack that determines how good your team is."

Gasperini then went on to say that Inter could use some additions in certain areas and hinted that the club are not finished in the transfer market.

He said: "At the moment we're a bit short in certain areas, including midfield, thinking about how many games we'll have to play. But the club knows very well what to do. There are still 10 days left before the transfer window closes."
