The All India Football Federation (AIFF), on Wednesday, announced the fixtures for the upcoming Kalinga Super Cup, which will be held in Odisha in January.
Sixteen teams will compete for silverware, with the winner earning a place in the ACL 2 Preliminary Stage of the AFC 2024-25 season. The 12 Indian Super League (ISL) teams, along with four teams from the I-League, are set to participate. The top three ranked I-League teams after December 24, 2023, among the I-League teams that have confirmed their participation, will slot into the first three groups respectively, while the I-League 4 spot will be determined by playing a playoff between the I-League 4th placed and I-League 5th placed sides, which will be held on January 8.
East Bengal FC and Hyderabad FC are set to lock horns in the opening match of the tournament on January 9, followed by the clash between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and I-League 1 later on the same date.
Odisha FC, the current holders of the Super Cup title, will face the last edition’s runners-up Bengaluru FC in their opening match on January 12, setting the stage for a rematch of the last edition’s final.

The tournament will take place on two different pitches at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Stadium Pitch 1 and Kalinga Stadium Main Pitch. The group stage is scheduled from January 9 to January 22, with the semi-finals on January 24 and 25. Meanwhile, the final will be held on January 28.
