Do you want to learn how to draw a Confederate flag? All you’ll need is some white paper, a pencil, and red, black, and blue markers, crayons, or paint. If you want to learn how to draw the Confederate flag, we’ll break it down for you. Keep in mind, the Confederate flag is a hate symbol, so only draw and display the flag for educational reasons, like school projects or presentations.
Draw an X in pencil.
Center the X in the middle of a rectangle. Make the center of the x a little less than an inch below the center of the paper.
Add a second X.
Draw a second X-shape about 1 in (2.5 cm) above the first one. This time, making the center a little less than an inch above the center of the paper.
Trace the outline in blue.
Erase the pencil marks in the center when you’re done. Trace with the blue marker, erasing the inside lines around the center.
Add the stars.
Draw 13 stars inside of the X in pencil. These will be left colorless.
Color in the X in blue.
Fill in the negative space, but leave the stars blank. Remember, do not color in the stars. Simply trace around them.
Fill in the triangles with red.
Leave a white strip around each of the triangles. Outside of the X, fill in the rest of the white paper red.
