Open the Shipt Shopper app. The Shipt Shopper app is dark green and has a green bag outlined in a lighter green border, the name Shipt below this. On iPhone's, the title of the app below this icon will show as just "Shopper." If you are also an Instacart Shopper, try not to confuse these apps. They use the same title underneath both apps, but the icons look completely different. In the past, Shipt used an alien-spaceship logo. However, this logo is now defunct and should now be a relic left in history - as many Shoppers believe it is/was in its glory days.
Tap your Account line from the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the screen. Your account line will be listed as your name and rating, with your profile picture.
Scroll all the way down and tap "Preferences."
Tap the "Open Available Orders on Launch" slider-switch to the right of this option. This section of the page is just between the settings for your Preferred Map App and Snapshot Update Settings. Make sure that the slider is lit in green.
Save your work by tapping the left-pointing arrow button in the top left corner of the Preferences screen.
Test out the feature. Force the app to close, then re-open the app. If it comes up smoothly to "Available Orders," great. If not, you missed a step. Go back and try again.
