Meetup is a site that makes it easy to find activity groups to join. It doesn't quite make it easy or obvious to leave a group, though. This article explains the process.
Sign in to Meetup.
Log in to Meetup at https://www.meetup.com. If you're not signed in, you'll need to sign in now.
Select a group.
Go to the group list and click your group. This opens your group's info.
Hover the mouse over "My Profile.
This opens a drop-down menu. The option to leave the group appears on this menu.
Click "Leave this group."
Once you select this option, a confirmation message will appear. You can still change your mind at this point.
Click "Leave the Group" to confirm.
You will be removed from the group instantly. The group will no longer appear in your list of groups.
