How to Recall WeChat Messages on an iPhone or iPad

Open WeChat on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the green icon with two white chat bubbles (with eyes) inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

Tap Chats. It’s at the bottom of the screen.

Tap the chat that contains the message you wish to recall.

Tap and hold the message. A set of black buttons will appear above the message.

Tap the right-pointing arrow. It’s at the end of the black button bar. Additional options will appear.

Tap Recall. A confirmation message will appear.

Tap OK. The message is now removed. In its place will be a grayed-out message that says “You’ve recalled a message.”
