Actress Kajal Aggarwal is all set to share the screen with the legendary Nandamuri Balakrishna in their upcoming film, Bhagavanth Kesari. In a recent interview, Kajal Aggarwal opened up about her experience working with the film’s director, Anil Ravipudi, shedding light on the best part of the collaboration.
During a promotional interview, Kajal Aggarwal was asked about her experience working with director Anil Ravipudi, and she didn’t hold back her praise for the filmmaker. She commended Anil as a wonderful person and expressed her delight in working with him, noting that he had become a dear friend through the process. Kajal shared some delightful memories of their time, highlighting one special aspect of their working relationship – Anil’s habit of bringing her homemade food from his kitchen. She stated, “I think Anil is a wonderful person, and I had a great time working with him. He has become a very good friend now, and we’ve created some amazing memories. He would keep bringing me food from his house. That was my favourite part of working with him.”
In the same interview, Kajal Aggarwal provided insights into the film, describing it as an entertaining cinematic experience, eagerly anticipating its release. She offered details about her character, Kathayani, explaining that she portrays a psychologist who takes Sreeleela’s character under her wing in the narrative.
Kajal Aggarwal is set to play the role of Balakrishna’s wife in Bhagavanth Kesari, and her character, Kathyayani, also assumes the role of Sreeleela’s character’s aunt.
Fans of Telugu cinema can mark their calendars, as Bhagavanth Kesari is scheduled for release on October 19, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. The film is directed by Anil Ravipudi and boasts a star-studded ensemble cast, including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sreeleela, Priyanka Jawalkar, John Vijay, and Arjun Rampal, who is making his debut in Telugu cinema. Sahu Garapata and Harish Peddi are producing the film under the banner of Shine Screens, while Thaman S is composing the music for the movie.
Kajal Aggarwal, a celebrated name in South Indian cinema, made her debut in the Bollywood film Kyun Ho Gaya Na in 2004, albeit in a smaller role. Her first leading role came in the Telugu film Lakshmi Kalyanam in 2007, directed by Teja, where she starred alongside Kalyan Ram.
