Naga Saroja distanced herself from the film industry.

South star Nagarjuna’s sister, Naga Saroja, succumbed to illness on Tuesday. She had been battling an ailment for a while. Naga Saroja’s health took a turn for the worse, leading to death on Tuesday morning. She was subsequently transported to a renowned hospital in Hyderabad for medical care. The news of her demise was verified by her family members. Akkineni Nageswara Rao had five children including Nagarjuna, Satyavati, Naga Saroja, Naga Susheela, and Venkat. Nagarjuna and Naga Susheela are more well-known in the film industry, and the others don’t have a significant presence.

Satyavati passed away years ago. Recently, Naga Saroja, who had distanced herself from the film industry, also passed away. She was the third eldest sister of Nagarjuna. Celebrities and politicians have been paying their respects to Nagarjuna during this time of mourning. Naga Saroja’s final rites took place yesterday.

Venkat and Naga Susheela are involved in film production, while Supriya is currently overseeing the responsibilities at Annapurna Studios. Most of the family members have roles in the film industry, but Naga Saroja had distanced herself from it from the very beginning. She was not seen at Nagarjuna’s movie events or other celebrations as well. Despite being part of a prominent film family, Naga Saroja lived a modest and simple life.

Nagarjuna’s next film, Naa Saami Ranga, has been officially announced. It will be directed by the acclaimed choreographer Vijay Binni. The project’s kickoff was marked by an exciting announcement teaser, showcasing Nagarjuna as a tough, massy character that has resonated well with his fan base.

The highly-anticipated film is being produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, under his Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. Prasanna Kumar is responsible for the story and dialogues, and the musical score is entrusted to the Academy Award-winning composer, MM Keeravaani. Naa Saami Ranga is in its pre-production stage. Fans can anticipate more information regarding the leading lady and the rest of the cast and crew in the coming days. Naa Saami Ranga is scheduled for release during Sankranthi in 2024. Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram is also aiming for a January release next year.
