The Pakistan men’s cricket team have been tasting the hospitality of India after they landed in Hyderabad for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. In fact, The Pakistan team has travelled to India for the first time after the 2016 T20 World Cup.
On Saturday night the whole Pakistan World Cup squad, along with the coaches, stepped out for dinner and even clicked some selfies with fans.
The Pakistan Cricket Board took to social media to share a glimpse of the same.

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Zaka Ashraf had come under fire for a video, that went viral, in which he referred to India as an enemy nation. The PCB chairman released another statement lauding India for the fantastic reception of the Pakistan cricket team in the country.
PCB Chairman Ashraf came under the scanners after a video of him referring India to an enemy nation went viral. He faced backlash for his statement and now released another statement where he hailed the reception the players got at the airport.
“The fantastic reception of the Pakistan team in India for the World Cup proves how much love the people of both countries have for each other’s players. This love was evident by the reception arranged at the Hyderabad airport. I congratulate the Indians for arranging a reception of this kind,” Ashraf said in a statement released by PCB.
Pakistan wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Rizwan also revealed that he and the Pakistan players has received only love after arriving in India. Babar Azam and Co. received a warm reception at the Hyderabad airport.
Rizwan was overwhelmed by the love he received at the airport and said it was the same Pakistan team gets in their own country.
“The Indian crowd gave us a lot of love at the airport itself, just like how our fans love us back in Pakistan. We were welcomed in India in a great way,” Rizwan told broadcasters after the first innings in the warm-up match against New Zealand.
