16 in race for standing committee

HYDERABAD: As many as 16 corporators of different political parties and independents filed their nominations for the GHMC Standing Committee elections to be held on June 8.Mansoor Bin Mohd Awalgi, Khaja Bilal Ahmed, Syed Abdul Haq Nazeer,  Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi, M A Gaffar, Md Zakir Baqueri, B Ravi Yadav filed nominations from MIM party. Ranjana Goel, G Raj Kumar, Gottimukkala Vengal Rao, Ravula Sheshagiri, K Jagan, A R Prasanna Kumari and G M Ratna Kumari filed from Congress party. Independent candidates, Diddi Rambabu and Dhanpal Reddy also filed nominations.
