SAMBALPUR: Three Maoists were nabbed from different areas under Jujumura police limits on Tuesday. They have been identified as Rohita Chura alias Mithun (19) of Khaliapali village, Kusha Bhoi (45) of Mudtal village, Satyanarayan Bhoi (30) of Barloi village. Police also seized 2.4 kg of gunpowder from the house of Kusha Bhoi and the three have been forwarded to court.Informing mediapersons on Wednesday, Sambalpur SP Nikhil Kanodia said Chura along with hardcore Maoist Arta Bhoi (30) _  arrested by the police from Bamnipali under Jujumura police limits on November 4 _  had made a recce of the stone crusher unit of ARSS Infrastructure and was involved in the conspiracy. Chura had also received money from Arta for the work with a promise of induction into the outfit. He also informed that Chura had no past criminal record. The SP said Kusha was picked up during combing operation in Kusumura as he was found moving suspiciously. “Primarily, he was an agriculturist and his son runs a grocery shop in Meghpal village which is a stronghold of Maoists,” the SP said.Satyanarayan had been staying with his in-laws in Jahnkarbahali village under Dhama police limits, Kanodia said, adding that two cases were pending against him. Satyanarayan was providing logistics for running the Maoist camp in Jadu Loisingh forest under Jujumura police limits where an exchange of fire took place on October 26, as the spot was located 2 km from Jhankarbahali.
