New Delhi: Shoot 'em. Kill everything in sight.

There's certain kind of person who enjoys the idea of killing everything that moves and blowing up everything that doesn't.

For everybody else there's Solitaire. But this is definitely not Solitaire.

Black is a videogame that is the perfect stress buster.

In this game, players will step into the boots of Sergeant Kellar, a black-ops operative whose sole job is to put an end to a terrorist organisation called the Third Wave.

The story unfolds via cut-scenes that have real actors hamming it up just like in a Tom Clancy novel.

Black doesn't feature any sort of multiplayer and is painfully short; but what it lacks in these departments, it makes up for in leaps and bounds with some of the most intense gameplay ever witnessed in a videogame.

Every firefight reduces entire structures, buildings and rooms (depends where you are) to ruins; with debris, smoke and mangled bodies that bear testament of your wanton destruction.

Throughout most of the game you will come across certain objects like oil tankers, cars and walls that can be completely decimated with a couple of shots of your shotgun or your RPG.

Reloading has been given that extra touch, with the entire world blurring except for your weapon every time you reload.

While this is an uber-cool touch, it can get pretty frustrating when you're surrounded by enemies.

Black is insane and the frame rate holds up impressively even during some of the most intense firefights.

This game literally begs for a good sound setup as death and mayhem sound so authentic every enemy encounter will leave you breathless.

Black's "balls-to-the-wall" gameplay may appeal to some, but its monotony may put many off.

Once the novelty of shooting the crap out of everything wears off, you're left with a run-of-the-mill shooter that doesn't offer any sort of replayability.

On the other hand if you're the trigger-happy type, this game is the perfect stress buster.

What's your reaction?
