Chandigarh: The Punjab unit of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday expanded its organisational structure, announcing new appointees ahead of 2017 state Assembly elections.
AAP Punjab Convener, Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi said the party has made appointments in various wings.
Among the newly appointed joint secretaries are Satnam Chichi, Harchand Singh Barsat, Aman Malhotra, Gurpreet Singh Gopi Sarpanch, Anil Thakur, Vishawpreet Singh Chhina, Ashok Puri and Sweety Sharma Lalru.
He announced Rajinder Sharma (Observer Anandpur shahib), Sandeep Dhaliwal (Faridkot Zone Coordinator), Ashootosh Tandon (Fatehgarh Shahib Zone Coordinator), Virender Khara (Ludhiana & Fatehgarh Sahib In charge) and Dalbir Dhillon (Faridkot & Sangrur In charge).
Various appointments were made in the other wings as well.
Jassi Sohian -- State Vice President SC-ST Wing, Ram Lal Mall -- State Joint Secretary SC-ST Wing, Jagdeep Brar -- State Vice President Youth Wing, Ravi Shahkot-- State Joint Secretary Youth Wing and Parminder Singh Goga-- State Joint Secretary Trade, Transport.
