KOCHI: One of the accused in the Paravoor sex scandal has allegedly committed suicide in Saudi Arabia.
Vipin Zacharia, a 53-year-old practising doctor from Erattupetta, who was working in Saudi Arabia, had been absconding.Vipin Zacharia has been included in the list of the accused after Lillie, one of the agents arrested in connection with the case, gave leads that pointed to him.

The Ernakulam Crime Branch team which is probing the case has been trying to trace him.

It is learnt that Vipin Zacharia was initially practising in the United Kingdom. Later he moved to Saudi Arabia. He was reportedly missing for the past one week from Damam, Saudi Arabia.

The probe team in the case has identified over 100 accused in the case so far. Of these, as many as 52 have been taken into custody.
