The satellite rights of this film has been bought over by Zee TV and the movie is all set to hit the screens as a Tamil New Year gift, on the 14th of April.
Veteran director Manivannan is busy with his 50th directorial venture, titled 'Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA', which is a sequel to 'Amaidhi Padai', released way back in 1994. The film stars Sathyaraj, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Mrudula and Komal Sharma, among others; this is Sathyaraj's 200th film.
