Azad Maidan riot: 3 held found innocent, released

Mumbai: Three people arrested in the Azad Maidan riot case will be discharged on Monday after they were found innocent.

A total of 51 people have been arrested in the case so far.

Meanwhile, 23 others arrested are set to undergo a medical examination on Monday after they claimed last week that they were beaten up by the police at the Arthur Road prison.

The August 11 protest was organised by Raza Academy and some other groups to denounce alleged atrocities on the minority community in Assam and Myanmar.
