Bengaluru: Jilted lover attacks girl, throws chilli powder on her face

Bengaluru: In a gruesome incident, a 16-year-old girl was attacked in Bengaluru by three machete-wielding men, including a jilted lover.

The minor was attacked on the same day she had turned down the proposal of a man who worked with her father. Hours later, the accused and two of his accomplices overpowered the girl when she was returning home.

According to the minor, when she tried to escape, chilli powder was thrown on her face and then the accused started taking swipes with the machete. The main accused has been arrested, but the two accomplices are on the run.

"Please save my daughter. She is all that I have. Look at how badly her hands have been attacked. I can't see her in this condition," the minor's mother said.
