BHEL Recruitment via GATE 2018 Application Process to recruit 50 Engineer Trainees has begun today on the official careers website of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) – careers.bhel.in. BHEL aims to recruit 30 Engineer Trainees from Mechanical discipline and 20 ETs from Electrical. As per the original schedule, BHEL was to start the application process for BHEL Recruitment via GATE 2018 on 9th January 2018 however, it was postponed and the application process finally began today. BHEL will shortlist candidates for interviews for the post of Engineer Trainee based on their GATE 2018 score and previous academic records. The selected candidates will have to execute a service agreement bond of ₹2 Lakh to serve the company for 3 years after successful completion of training. Step 1 – Visit the official website - https://careers.bhel.in
Step 2 – Click on the notification that reads,
Recruitment of Engineer Trainees - GATE 2018 / इंजीनियर प्रशिक्षणार्थियों की भर्तीगेट-2018
Step 3 – Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab
Step 4 – Fill the application form, pay the online fee and complete the application process
Step 5 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference

Application Fee:
GEN/OBC (Non-Creamy) applicants need to pay a processing fee of ₹300
SC/ST/PWD/EXSM applicants are exempted from paying the processing fee
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidates applying for BHEL Recruitment via GATE 2018 for the post of Engineer Trainee must possess a full-time Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or Five-Year Integrated Master's degree or Dual Degree programme in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution and should be able to present his/her Engineering Degree and Final year mark sheet as on 1st July 2018 or on Interview day, whichever is later.
2. The applicant must register with his GATE 2018 Registration Id.
3. The applicant must not be more than 27 years of age, i.e. he must be born after 1st September 1990. Age relaxation in upper age-limit applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates and for candidates who’ve pursued Two-Year full time postgraduate programmes in business administration/management.
