DHENKANAL: The management of Bhusan Steel Limited (BSL) on Wednesday ruled out meeting any of the demands of its workers at a meeting in the Assistant Labour Commissioner’s office, Angul.The labourers under the aegis of Bhusan Steel Shramik Congress have been demanding fulfilment of their 10 demands and nine meetings have so far been organised between the BSL management, labourers and the labour officials. None of the meetings has yielded any result. The demands include, pay hike for 582 workers, improvement of service conditions and ESI coverage among other things.Bhusan Steel Shramik Congress general secretary PK Biswal said following Wednesday’s meeting, the labourers would either resort to cease work or move the labour court for justice. A meeting in this regard would be held soon.
