Nothing changes life more than the loss of a true friend. And this is exactly what seems to be unfolding in the Bigg Boss house as the cracks widen between the P3G group. In fact, when the contestants woke up in the morning a sense of dread continued to loom over their minds even as Bigg Boss announced the one task that promised to shake the roots of the house for good!
Even before breakfast was served, Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task wherein Diandra is given the power to choose one candidate on her own wishes and another based on the majority votes by the contestants. These two selected contestants along with the winners of the luxury budget task 'Sab Durandhar Hotel Ke Andar' - Dimpy and Pritam were then pitted against each other to be the next captain of the Bigg Boss house. While Diandra selected Praneet as her candidate of choice, Gautam was surprisingly selected through a majority vote by the contestants. However, little do the contestants know that they are in for a roller coaster ride as the battle for captaincy takes over every other thought in the Bigg Boss house.
During the course of the task aptly titled 'Captaincy Mere Haath Mein', the four contestants were required to hold on to a ring and the last person to remain latched on to the ring would be announced the captain. The already souring relationship between Pritam, Praneet and Gautam reaches crossroads as Gautam raised questions on Praneet and Pritam's loyalty in their friendship with him. The situation got completely out of hand as Praneet and Pritam lost their cool and announced the end of their friendship with Gautam.
While the situation between P3G was worsening, Karishma was complaining to Aarya and Upen about her best friend in the house and now ex-captain, Diandra for not considering her as a probable contestant for captaincy. Aarya and Upen who were stunned to hear that Karishma wanted to be nominated as captain also mentioned that they too were surprised by Diandra's nomination and selection of candidates for the next captain of the house!
As the craziness in the Bigg Boss house started to subside and peace crept back into the house, Bigg Boss announced the launch of the Maruti Swift task wherein the contestants needed to drive the car in the activity area while pulling off danglers containing names of luxury budget items suspended from the roof. Aarya nominated himself to drive the car while the contestants chose the tallest man in the house, Pritam, to pull the labels from the danglers. Even though the duo had only 5 minutes in hand, they were able to successfully collect 37 items; the last item to be rescued was Karishma's makeup. However, Bigg Boss announced that the makeup label was pulled only after the end of the task owing to which Karishma would need to go another week without her makeup. Other personal items up for grabs included Diandra's makeup and Aarya's Simba which the contestants were unable to rescue because their danglers were suspended out of Pritam's reach!
The happiness and joy of gaining so many products, however, did not over-shine the huge problems in the P3G friendship. Eager to resolve the matter, Gautam tried to speak with Pritam and Praneet in Puneet's presence. However, this is all in vain as Pritam and Praneet refuse to budge and openly declare the P3G no longer exists and it is now impossible for them to come back together! Albeit having a strong fan following, Pritam, Praneet, Puneet and Gautam had no other options than to face the harsh reality that P3G is officially over.
