Sayantani Ghosh says Bigg Boss inmate Navjot Singh Sidhu has to understand the rule of the game.

New Delhi: TV actress Sayantani Ghosh says she has a lot of respect for her Bigg Boss inmate Navjot Singh Sidhu, but feels the former cricketer has to understand the rule of the game and follow them for the sake of other participants.

"Sidhuji has his own views and principles and all of us respect him a lot for that. He has indeed brought a lot of positivity in the house, but he needs to understand the rules of the game, as the end result is not always good," Sayantani told IANS after getting evicted from the 'Bigg Boss' house Friday.

In previous episodes, Sidhu refused to nominate contestants for eviction, as he felt it would be like insulting them. He sometimes even compromised on the rules of the show or the tasks given to him, eventually leaving everybody in a fix at the end.

"He felt that nominating someone for eviction would be insulting that contestant. But its not like that. We were not nominating anyone because we have any personal grudge against that particular person, but because these are the rules of the game and we need to follow those," she said.

"I chose names that I felt didn't fit in the house well, rather than having any personal grudge against anybody. If Sidhuji had any issues regarding the rules of the game he should have sorted them out before entering the house," she added.

The ever chirpy Sayantani calls her stint in "Bigg Boss 6" life changing, though she says she wanted to stay in the house a little longer.

"It's unfortunate that I got evicted from the house so early. I wanted to stay longer in the show. But overall I had a great experience in the house. I have become way more patient now and I don't take things for granted anymore. I have become self-sufficient," she said

"I don't think anybody is pretentious in the show. There is a sensible lot of people inside the house this time, who don't like to overreact or fight over small issues - barring a few occasions where some lost their cool, but later patched up too - all of them want to play the game in the right spirit," she added.

Sayantani has earlier featured in shows like "Kumkum", "Naaginn" and "Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein".
