Blind school jubilee fete to conclude today

The valedictory function of the golden jubilee celebrations of the Kerala Blind School at Thottumugham here will be held on October 8.

Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman P J Kurian will inaugurate the function. Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan Dr Philipose Mar Chrysostom will deliver the keynote address.

 A children’s park will be constructed on the school premises to mark the golden jubilee of the school.

 K P Dhanapalan MP will lay the foundation stone of the park. Civil Supplies Minister Anoop Jacob will inaugurate the special block constructed by the Federal Bank. 

The souvenir published in connection with the golden jubilee will be released by Anwar Sadat MLA.
