Stockholm: India's Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi advanced to the men's doubles quarter-finals of the 600,000 Euros Stockholm Open.
The top-seeded India-Pakistan pair defeated Julian Knowle of Austria and Poland's Lukasz Kubot 6-4, 6-4 in the first round in Sweden on Tuesday.
They now await the winner of the opening-round match between Germany's Michael Kohlmann and Alexander Waske and the wildcard pair of Martin Emmrich of Germany and Andreas Siljestrom of Sweden.
Bopanna and Qureshi, champions earlier this year at the Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Germany, are currently No.7 in the 'Battle for London' - the ATP World Tour Finals next month - with just three qualifying spots left up for grabs.
