Break free from confines of four walls, women told

“It is the social work which I started through the Kudumbashree Area Development Society (ADS) that made me a panchayat president and now a minister,” P K Jayalakshmi, Minister for Welfare of Backward Communities, has said.

She was inaugurating the cultural meet organised in connection with the 14th anniversary celebrations of the  Kudumbashree Mission.

“The women could break free from the shackles and the confines of the four walls because of the Kudumbashree Mission,” she said.

 V D Satheesan MLA presided over the function.
