BSNL mobile customers who have a fascination for fancy numbers, can now get their favourite numbers, with the telecom operator setting the platform for it. The BSNL Kerala Circle has launched the e-auction of mobile vanity numbers on September 28.
Customers can choose their favourite number from the list provided on the BSNL website and place their bids. As the demand is high, the numbers are pooled for auction so that every individual gets a chance to grab the number of his choice by participating in the auction.
As part of the BSNL day, the Kerala circle has introduced many offers. For customers having GSM connection, the BSNL provides 20 per cent extra talk value for top-ups of denominations ` 200, ` 500, ` 1,000 and ` 6,000 from October 1 to 7.
It also provides 10 per cent and 20 per cent discount in MRP of 3G Data STVs (prepaid/postpaid) for a period of 90 days from October 1. Moreover, a 3G Data STV - Yuva - will be launched on October 1 in a bid to attract youth.
Another offer is the 20-per cent special discount in sale price of 7.2 Mbps 3G Data cards for a period of 90 days from October 1.
Full talk value and extra talk value on CDMA top-up /flexi top-up vouchers up to December 12 is another offer for CDMA/WLL customers. These customers can also get EVDO Data Card at ` 959 (20 per cent less) and the offer is till December 8. New STVs for CDMA prepaid services is another offer that is given by the BSNL.
For Wi-Max customers, the business plan 850 is being relaunched. There will be a 20 per cent discount on fixed monthly charges for government employees till December 12. They also offer an extension of reduced additional usage charge for Wi-Max services.
