Counting has begun in eight states for 10 Assembly constituencies, where polling took place on 9th April. The eight states where counting is taking place are - Delhi, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh.
The BJP has won the Assembly bypolls in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Assam, and is leading in Rajasthan. There is some solace for the Congress in Karnataka where it has won both the seats.
Counting is on in eight states for 10 Assembly constituencies, where polling took place on April 9. Constituencies where counting is taking place include Rajouri Garden (Delhi), Litipara (Jharkhand), Nanjangud and Gundlupet (Karnataka), Dholpur (Rajasthan), Kanthi Dakshin (West Bengal), Ater and Bandhavgarh (Madhya Pradesh), Bhoranj (Himachal Pradesh) and Dhemaji (Assam).
