CHENNAI: The three schools run by the Sanatana Dharma Vidyalaya Association celebrated their annual day here on Wednesday.SSDV Matriculation Higher Secondary School for Gi-rls, MFSD Higher Secondary School for Boys (government-aided) and Shri KA Bal-Niketan Primary Co-educational School had a joint celebration on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee of the schools.Chief guest Manoj Kumar Sonthalia, Chairman and Managing Director of The New Indian Express group, said, “Sanatana Dharma is greater than any religion, it is an Indian value. Schools named after this great tradition should be different from other schools, and its students will also be different from students of other sch-ools.” He congratulated them on their in-house magazine and also wished them success. The annual reports were presented by the respective principals in the form of a video. Students also performed cultural programmes. Awards and prizes relating to the golden jubilee celebration activities were presented, as were academic excellence awards.
