DYFI state secretariat said on Tuesday that the move to hand over the land in Kerala to real estate mafia through ‘Emerging Kerala’ will be opposed.
In the wake of stiff opposition from even UDF members, the government should withdraw from the decision to conduct the event. The government has not been able to clear the doubts of the public. There is no clarity on the projects which will be showcased at the ‘Emerging Kerala’. DYFI is not against new projects which create more employment, but the move to destroy the environment will be opposed.
