HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy was on Friday questioned in connection with licences and permissions she had issued during the Y S Rajasekhara Reddy regime, to some cement-manufacturing companies which had investment in Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy’s firms.The CBI questioned Reddy for three hours at her house. The probe agency asked Reddy how, as a Minister for Mines and Geology, she gave permissions to some cement companies and if she had followed rules in doing that. The CBI also sought information about the permissions granted to the cement companies. During her tenure, nine GOs were issued pertaining to allotment of mines to the firms including India Cements, Dalmia and Penna Cements. She was the third minister to be questioned in Jagan’s case.
