BANGALORE: Two miscreants who cheated youths by promising them to provide government jobs have been held by the Central Crime Branch sleuths.The accused have been identified as Sheikh Abdul Kareem (51) of Hosanagar, Shimoga and Nagendra Rao(68) of Vijayanagar, Mysore. Many educated candidates were cheated of lakhs of rupees by this duo. The police on a tipoff raided the Amrith Hall in Raceview Sanman Delux Hotel and arrested the miscreants.Police have recovered hall tickets of the exams for the second division clerk and first division clerk exams conducted by KPSC, duplicate copies of answer sheets, other documents, Rs 20,000 cash from them.The accused Sheikh Abdul Kareem is an Economics lecturer in Government PU College, Hosanagar and Nagendra is a retired government clerk. Allegedly, easy money lured the duo to commit this crime. Highgrounds police have registered a case.
