Mumbai: The police on Thursday conducted searches at Churchgate stations after they received a call about an impending bomb blast at the station. Extra police force was deployed at the stations and safety measures were increased.

This comes days after seven Amarnath Yatra pilgrims were killed and 19 injured as terrorists attacked a bus carrying the pilgrims in Batingu, near Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack was linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Abu Ismail, who allegedly carried out the strike with the help of Hizbul Mujahideen cadres.
