ANANTAPUR:: The state government is poised to create employment to 15 lakh youths in the next three years and they would provide jobs to one lakh youth by 2012 through Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has said.Launching the programme in Rayalaseema at a function here on Friday, he said under the scheme 85,000 jobs would be created in Anantapur district alone.The jobs would be created by imparting employable skills to the youth, he said. He also announced several sops to the district on the occasion. Kiran Kumar Reddy said insurance amount to the tune of Rs. 128 crore would be disbursed to farmers on September 15. He sanctioned crop loans worth Rs. 10 crore with pavala vaddi. He inaugurated the newly-constructed buildings for women’s degree college and hostels. During his one-day tour, he inaugurated several schemes taken up with an estimated cost of Rs. 53 crore and disbursed assets worth Rs. 140 crore.He said when the banks provided loans worth Rs. 22,000 crore to women self-help groups in the country, Andhra Pradesh alone provided Rs. 9,000-crore loans.
