CM rebuts third-degree charges

KOCHI: The allegations of using third-degree methods for interrogating the accused in the T P Chandrasekharan murder case are completely baseless, said Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Saturday.The accused have admitted that the police had treated them properly while in custody, the Chief Minister told reporters here.“The law will take its own course. No innocent person will be punished and no guilty will be spared,” he added.
