Thiruvananthapuram: Premier Indian condom manufacturer HLL Lifecare Limited has adopted Karakulam village in Thiruvananthapuram district as part of its corporate social responsibility programme.
HLL has planned a range of initiatives including health camps, cancer diagnostics camps, free diabetes check-ups and free distribution of sanitary products for girls in the village.
HLL is today a 'mini Ratna' and was upgraded as a Schedule B Central Public Sector Enterprise.
