Congress-BJP lock horns over Hindutva in Jharkhand Assembly

The ruling Congress and the opposition BJP were on Saturday locked in a verbal duel over Hindutva issue in the state assembly.

"The BJP is proud of Hindutva, as it is a way of life and a lifestyle. Even the Supreme Court has said it is a lifestyle," senior BJP leader and former deputy Chief Minister Raghuvar Das said in the House.

Strongly taking exception to it, Congress MLA K N Tripathy asked the BJP "why not be proud of being a human being".
