DD Medical College agrees to hold exams

CHENNAI: The 150 students of the DD Medical College and Hospital in Kunnavalam village in Tiruvallur district will be allowed to write the remaining examinations at the University campus.An undertaking to this effect was given by TN Dr MGR Medical University’s senior counsel AL Somayaji before Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar on Wednesday.In respect of the examination already held on August 1, the counsel added that the interest of the students would be taken care of.Medical college counsel Dakshyayini Reddy said that any such arrangement of writing the examination at the University venue would be without prejudice to the right of the petitioner  college.After recording the undertaking given by the University senior counsel, the judge ordered notice to the duo, returnable by August 9.
